James Wiseman signs a deal with the Indiana Pacers and joins the third NBA team!
There is news coming out that James Wiseman signs a deal with the Indiana Pacers. James Wiseman, who was taken second overall by the Golden State Warriors in 2020, has joined the Indiana Pacers and has agreed to play for them as part of a free-agent deal.
James Wiseman had a long stint in Golden State with injuries before he was moved to the Detroit Pistons on a trade deadline last year. In his only full NBA season with the Detroit Pistons, Wiseman averaged 7 points and 6 rebounds before being released by the Pistons.

This time, Wiseman got a 2-year contract from the Indiana Pacers and another chance to play for Indiana. If the Memphis Grizzlies were looking at Wiseman as a backup center candidate, he is now off the board, just like former Grizzly Xavier Tillman was.
Apart from this, the Boston Celtics team, which traded for Tillman in February, also signed a two-year deal with him on Tuesday. Tillman has averaged 5 points and 4 boards in winning a ring with the Celtics.
